I love to read. Love. It. Unfortunately, I don’t get to the library very often and with all of the other household expenses a book seems, well, self-indulgent. When I asked for an eReader for Christmas it was, to me, an extravagant request. For some people it’s Manolo Blahnik’s, for me it’s books.

You can imagine my delight then when my mom sent me a link to a service that sends you a list of free, on-sale, and low-cost ebooks….daily. (Insert angels singing.) If you’re a book-addict like myself, I’m pleased to introduce you to BookBub. BookBub matches your genre preferences with current deals and sends you an email daily to alert you. You can then download the books from your NOOK HD, Kindle, Kobo, or to any tablet that has one of those apps installed. You do know you can read Kindle books on any tablet device with the free Kindle app, right? Same goes for Nook books and Kobo books.
Signing up is exceptionally easy. Enter your email address, choose your book preferences, and then start browsing and downloading. The best part is that not only are many of the books free, so too is the service.
So, Mamas, enjoy! And if you start to feel guilty about downloading all of those free ebooks for yourself, just remember that there are plenty of children’s books, cookbooks, history books, and more that your homeschooler will enjoy, as well.
