Felt Christmas Tree Ornament for Kids

Being busy does not mean you have to let go of crafting traditions with your kids. 

Today’s quick and easy Christmas ornament lets kids enjoy the crafting fun of the holidays, but it does not take a lot of time to finish. 

Three simple materials and a couple of basic supplies will have this Felt Christmas Tree craft completed in no time.

Felt Christmas Tree Ornament

Ages:  3+ (with adult supervision)

Time: 15 minutes

Materials Needed:

• Green Felt
• Small Pompoms
• Pipe Cleaner
• Scissors
• Tacky Glue

Directions:

1. Cut out a Christmas tree from the green felt.  Make it as big or as small as you would like.
2. Cut a small slit at the top of the tree and slide the pipe cleaner through it.  Twist the pipe cleaner together to form a hanger.
3. Using tacky glue, glue on different colored pompoms for ornaments
4. After the glue has dried completely, hang the tree on your Christmas tree and enjoy!
